From D to P
We are learning about the road changes happening at the bottom of Dowse Drive. As part of this we have looked at different types of bridges. We are going to work in small groups to build some bridges in the classroom. We will test the bridges to see if they can hold a toy car. We will be taking lots of photos during this time to add to our blog.
Swimming
We have all been making good progress at swimming. We are really looking forward to the swimming sports.

Geometry
The children are doing lots of pair, small group and class activities related to Geometry. We are learning all about 2-D and 3-D shapes. The class are having lots of fun making 3-D shapes and are using directions on map grids to guide their partners around a map. In the near future we will be learning about tessellations and designing tiles. We will be getting creative with symmetry too. It is a busy term with lots of hands on learning. The best way to learn!
